Attempted Jailbreak: DSS Begins Full Investigation

The Directorate of State Security (DSS) has begun a full investigation into Sunday’s attempted jailbreak by members of Boko Haram from its facility in Abuja.
The attempted jailbreak was foiled by the security agents and the military, but resulted in the death of 21 members of the terrorist sect, while two operatives sustained injuries.
Speaking on the next line of action, the DSS spokesperson, Marilyn Ogar, said the service had started full investigation into the case, promising to make it public once the investigation was concluded.
On Sunday, Ogar had blamed the attempted jailbreak on the attack on one of its operatives who had gone to feed the detainees.
Ogar said the operative was disarmed, leading to a shootout between the detainees and men of the DSS who were later joined by the military to quell the quest of the terrorists to break out of jail.
